The TELSTRA Telecommunication Museum

This exhibit contains part of the TELSTRA collection and was opened in 1997.
The collection contains items from the late 1800's to modern fibre optic systems.
Artifacts from the overland telegraph (opened in 1872) are on display.
Alongside the building is a Heritage Marker placed by the Institute of Engineers
to commemorate centenary of the East West telegraph,
together with poles and fittings from the Whyalla section.
